Learn how you may bring the music, animation, and graphic novel produced by Gord Downie and Jeff Lemire, supported and endorsed by the Wenjack family, to their later intermediate and secondary classrooms as a means of teaching about residential schools and the important role of being an ally.
Denise has been teaching in Tsimpshian Territory for 22 years. She is currently teaching in Terrace a Grade 6 class. Denise sits on two BCTF committees: Aboriginal Education and Peer support. She enjoys traveling the province and facilitating workshops for the BCTF.
